Homage to Jack McRitchie

Michael, I don't know about the homage part but I appreciate the thought. I think it's time for another extended break from PN. It's not much fun anymore, in fact I find myself becoming increasingly disappointed with membership involvement and with the way management ignores members questions and concerns. They used to at least say they'd check it out before doing absolutely nothing. Now they don't even bother to do that. The whole site seems to be experiencing a slow and painful downward spiral and I just can't stand it anymore. When the sense of community fades away and irritation outweighs pleasure, it's time to close the book for awhile. There are some pictures of yours that deserve comment before I go. Jack, you deserve every thought I had when I shot this photograph and every action I took thereafter to present it. Although I will miss your usual thoughtful and provocative comments, I will look forward to your return. By the way, might I suggest you post your photos in the Seeking Critique forum. Although this won't necessarily increase the number of views they may receive, going this route might help ensure that you won't get any B.S. responses like "Nice," "I like it," ad nauseam.
