Zbigniew Tyburczy - ZT 6 Posted May 14, 2019 Michael, Incredible mood of the photo! A lot of elements, shapes, reflection altogether make the image interesting and...unforgettable. Regards, ZT, Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted May 14, 2019 There's a rhythm: as the beat of the triangles speeds up it dissolves into a crystal - just to find its final chord in the human beings unaware of the concert. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 14, 2019 Quite a tour de force. I don't think this is manipulated apart from a possible conversion to b&w; if it is manipulated, you did a hell of a job. The picture feels like an explosion in time, a sudden and sharp fragmenting of an ongoing moment. One thing that does bother me a little is that the far left side of the picture is in sharper focus than the right side which is the natural point of interest. Perhaps there was a good reason for this given the particulars of the situation (as there often is) but it was something I noticed and wondered about. Even with that small caveat, it's an extraordinary picture. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 16, 2019 Jack, your use of "tour de force" really wowed me; no one previously has used this phrase in connection with any of my work. As to your concern, it might help for you to know that the glass behind which the human subjects are situated is rendered more opaque by the itching on its surface. Perhaps this accounts for the right side being slightly out of focus. Link to comment
