tai 3 Posted May 13, 2019 Beautiful original image with an ancient texture, Pierre! I am trying to guess if you revived the bas-relief or turned the portrait into a bas-relief. Well done! Congratulations! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted May 13, 2019 Tatiana none of your hypotheses, Pierre has carved this beautiful bas-relief directly on the stone with his hands, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
tai 3 Posted May 13, 2019 Pierre, perhaps Giangiorgio is right, you are a sculptor! Taking this opportunity, I want to know what your subject is. I was embarrassed to ask you. According to indirect data, you are not a mathematician ... Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted May 13, 2019 Thank you for your interest, Tatiana, Herr Weber and Giangiorgio! It's made of two layers, I guess! One is a Roman tomb and the other is a drawing of a portrait! I have applied on the hair part boss emboss, I guess, because it doesn't fit a drawing of hair on tomb of stone! That would be all! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 13, 2019 Pierre, after reading the comments already posted, I really can't add much. I will say, though, that the image not only has an antique appearance, but also produces a yearning to find and revel in more artifacts from ancient Greece and Macedonia. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
