michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 12, 2019 Ken, aside from railroads, street scenes, and abstracts, you seem to do well with photos of boats stranded on mud flats during a low tide. I believe that there's at least one other photo you've posted for critique before the current one.. Your choice of b&w, to me, was a good one. The image is well composed with a suitable perspective, given the subject matter. I like how its detail is sharp until the seawall; this is a hint to the viewer to concentrate on what's in front of it. I also like the sparse presence of water, which may be what remained after the change of tides or due to a quick rainfall. Finally, I like the deep furrows in the sand, caused by the bottom of the boat's hull. Well done, my friend. - - My best, michael Link to comment
