The landscape the image portrays appears to have a rugged appearance, and I agree with George's use of "barren" to describe it. To me, the image's real value is symbolic - addressing alienation or loneliness, or both. Dramatic in b&w, GC.

I like this one and its feeling of barren isolation. Your high contrast treatment of the picture fits the mood very well, emphasizing the rocky starkness of the place.

I was all over the Yorkshire Moors this past June. Your striking photo catches the solitary character of the Moors so well! Bravo!
