Well, this one is certainly different. Quite a trusting relationship on the part of the trainer. As a pure photograph there is enough distance from a pure documentary approach to introduce an artistic, almost romantic, element to the scene.

Not commenting on photo Franz, it is a good journalistic kind of shot capturing a quite a rare moment indeed. Well done. Nothing personal please but what I really dislike is the use of those noble gorgeous animals for such a ridiculous and pathetic "shows" . Not many people know how much struggle and cruel torture is hidden behind so called "training" these animals have to overcome since very young age to perform completely unnaturally like this elephant had to do . There is nothing brave in trainer behavior as somebody mentioned, these animals are scared to death to do something else they were asked and cruelly trained to do, they know very well a brutal punishment will come after if.... Use of wild animals in this kind of shows has to be banned worldwide. Period.
