Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 13, 2019 I have a special place in my heart for driftwood that goes back 40 years so I especially like this picture that captures their raw beauty so well. It really is a perfectly composed photo with magnificent tones. I'd say you had perfect light that day and made the most of it. I very musc like the branched end of the log and how it cuts against sea and horizon and rests against a darkening sky. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 17, 2019 I guess this is the new reality when a shot this good receives a single comment despite nearly 150 views. Link to comment
Gerald Cafferty 83,376 Posted January 17, 2019 Hi Jack, thanks for the return visit. As you say comments are in short supply in this brave new world, I myself don't comment so often anymore . I do use the admire option quite often and I'm pleased with the 8 admires and 1 favorites it has acquired. I do like your approach to your photography so please keep posting.............BR..GC.
