The silhouetted branches and trunks Allow the lantern to shine its light brightly, as if its function was to guide human beings to other interesting places like this. Again, Jack, the simplicity of this image is worth many minutes of viewing it, as I have done.

Patrick, Michael, Bruegel. Thanks for the comments. I like this one because it creates a sort of illusion of intent where none really exists. It wasn't really very popular with the membership though, which was a little disappointing.

Taken aback, awestruck when I saw this bedazzling....."Lantern". THIS and many other of your images are compelling, and here I now see a more vigorous edge. This one of the most artistic works I have seen from you. Thank you for your teachings and Koans some of your photography portray. Domo Arigatogosaimashita. DG

Jack, the twigs seem to be absorbed in a lively dance - against the backdrop of the man-made texture of wall and key-box. I find myself very often attracted by branches or trees in front of walls - they separate the trees from their surrounding and emphasize their shapes and forms.

Quirky, an original and unique image. Hmm that pretty much describes 99% of your images Jack ;-) Love it..................BR, Holger
