jennifercatron 9 Posted December 23, 2018 It's absolutely amazing to do macros but there are a few rules that might have made this a bit better. One is the composition of the image. When going macro don't think of the entire item being in 1/3 composition, but the elements within the subject being in 1/3. Second is the lighting used. Softer is better so you can truly get into the shadows and now have the highlights overdone. Lovely work, Happy Shooting! Link to comment
gregverena 338 Posted December 24, 2018 Jenny, Thanks for your time and critique. In this case, the lighting is what it was- outside. If you enjoy macros,you can look at the tousands of images in my portfolio, many under more controlled conditions. Thanks again. Link to comment
