henrimanguy 0 Posted November 6, 2003 Thank you all for your comments. Now that you say it, it's right, it as a certain look of a painting. But I have not search for this. In fact this is a composite of two photos from the same wiewpoint. One without the sky and one with the sky, this later being underexposed because of the radiance of the sky. I have stiched the upper part of the second one with the lower part of the first one. Yes, I could have better used the gradial grey filter. Link to comment
mrdougpeck 0 Posted March 14, 2007 I generally do not like landscape photos with the horizon line so close to the middle. This one is not bad, though it does look a little artificial with no reflection of the sky in the water, no doubt due to the exposure differences of the two images as you noted. Also it is a little busy to me. I would try cropping out about the top third, or the bottom third, and see what you think. Because of the brightness in the clouds, it keeps pulling my eye away from the lower part of the photo where all the interesting detail is. Just a thought. It is nice how it is, though, and I like the rock in the lower left. Link to comment
