A new twist (bad pun), Jack. A tried and true odd assemblage of objects (including the awning) brings an equally odd sort of life to this image. Clearly, a McRitchie !

It is to say Jack, the neighborhood has quite some artistic skills in composing the available stuff. You used it all well in your image.

Thank you for sharing!

Jack, you have a very unusual thinking and photos. The first (second, third ..) view does not always lead me to understand. Probably, I need to comprehensively perceive your gallery. Among your relatively recent photographs, I noticed the presence of human waste (garbage, trash, ...) or items for temporary storage of garbage or cleaning devices in the frame . These subjects are repeated and together give impetus to understanding. On our little planet soon will be very closely with garbage. This angular composition with interesting geometry completely falls into my version and is filled with meaning. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Michael, Steve, Herman - Thanks for your comments. I'm more fond of certain of my pictures than others and this one pleased me. If you liked it to, that's a real bonus.

Tatiana - Thanks for your comment. I composed a rather lengthy reply that was swallowed up by the software. I posted a comment about this on the PN site help forum. As for your comment, it took me quite a while to frame my reply last time and I don't feel like going through the process again. Suffice it to say, I don't view junk or garbage or graffiti with any emotional attachment when I have camera in hand, they are simply abstract elements in a composition. I'm always trying to re-compose the world, to see it fresh again without attachments. Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes I can't make the leap but it's always worth the effort. Thanks again for your thoughtful inquiry.

Hello Jack: Not surprised about your wonderful capture of sight and mostly.....mind. Is the wind blowing? Is it bent thin metal or plastic? The perfect Ying-Yang: the immovable chair versus the "flow" actual or past with the moving canvas. Delightful and challenging. A truly, authentic, personal, sophisticated, compelling style. Your trademark is more than evident for quality photography, impactful and grabbing. All the best. DG
