Jack McRitchie 150 Posted December 10, 2018 Laurent, Your pictures are as regular as the seasons. I see the same landmarks: the lighthouse, the little church, the beach, the harbor and you catch them as they change throughout the year, the same but always different. I'm not usually a fan of selective coloring but I think it works well here. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 10, 2018 Jack...Those like you who have been around for some time witness the return of my repetitive subjects with the seasonal flavor and I am grateful these shots still get some attention. For me as you well know,it is not a matter of relentlessness with these few subjets but a question of keeping this passion alive with what is available in my relatively remote spot. This shot I treated with the saturation curve tool and is sort of a progressive desaturation exercise which I stopped when I found it interesting enough to upload;glad it caught your keen eye and appreciation even if not your cup of tea....Thank you!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted December 11, 2018 I think even the subject is same over years each time moment can be different in a way and we can see a different point of view.Light, color in seasons, different clouds shapes can do an unique impress for each photo, and as you say also we keep the passion for photos alive and share our impressions. frigo 4,155 Posted December 11, 2018 Radu...You are right and as Jack also said, the subject can be the same but the image is always different because of the POV,the season but mostly the LIGHT.Thank you for adding you reflection,my friend.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
