michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 6, 2018 The stark reality of winter comes through loud and clear in this image, Laurent. Yet, you've also captured the beauty that is unique to this season - the dead tree against the ripples in the snow, the dead or dying vegetation in the background, and the darkish sky with its muted colors. And, by the way, the lighthouse adds an implied human presence. Outstanding work (another fave). - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted December 6, 2018 Michael....I hadn't realized that I had uploaded this as it was a trial to check when the uploaded declared DOWN this morning,so I'll fill in the details and give it a Title but not before I thank you for the kind appreciation.Winter has come early this year and added its layer of white stuff over the driftwood and other broken fishing gear you see in the background washed ashore by the autumn storms.Only thing I could not capture was the biting cold of the day which gave me my first frozen fingers of the season. The lighthouse is a favorite prop and I shoot it now the road to it is still opened as come real snow,it is now closed for the winter....part of our government's economy measures.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
