Philip Carlo...Indonesians smoke these Kretek(tobacco-cloves-++)cigarettes;it seems all men,some women and obviously some children like these I ran across in the mountainous area of East Java have an affinity for these.These little guys plus others,much younger were smoking when I came across them but they really pumped up the smoke when they saw my interest and the camera.This is amongst my favorite pictures of Indonesia and I am glad you also like.....PS-I looked up the story on the Indonesian boy-chain smoker;interesting to say the least!Salutations-Laurent

Svetlana...You are right.I remember when I was that age and smoking was the first visible expression of exhibiting I was grown up.Fortunately,I gave it up when my children were born and have not smoked since.Salutations-Laurent
