Tree Silhouette in Green (D200)

Hi Stephen,

 

this is certainly conveying the feeling of summer; the rich greens, the strong sunlight and even a hint of a deep blue sky. The lighting and colors are beautiful, but I think the image is a bit static in its composition. Have you tried other crops with the tree silhouette off-center? That would make this image stand out even more. Kind regards, Vincent

Thank You, Vincent! Yes, I get what you are saying, Composition-wise. I had considered an alternate crop, but hadn't settled on one yet. I will explore this further, and see if I can come up with one that appeals to me. Cheers, Steve

Update: I have tried out crops from both sides, and they produce interesting results with a different feel between the two of them. I wish there was an easy way to post small photos right here to illustrate.

I was able to replace the tree with a crop, but the winter scene would not update, despite multiple uploads and refreshes -- so I deleted and re-added it.
