frigo 4,155 Posted October 24, 2018 High winds pulled the leaves from the trees and the heavy rain immobilized them on the ground!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted October 24, 2018 Isn't it amazing how nature provides such wonderful opportunities for photography? If not for what I take to be a storm, Laurent, this image would be less impactful. The fall colors the foliage itself displays is beautiful, but the lawn and pavement serving as background for the strewn leaves provide extra contrast. Sadly, the only time I can see leaves changing color in my area of Florida is when a tree is dead or dying. - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 25, 2018 Michael..This year has been really good for colors;winds have been exceptionally calme allowing the leaves to gain their best colors before being blown away. This morning, the winds picked up accompanied by heavy rains and as I was preparing to leave, this was there for the picking.Got the camera wet but managed a few shots.Saw you were here in NB recently but I guess you happened just before the colors..Now we must prepare for the color WHITE as the first flakes touched the ground today mixed with the rain.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
