krpradu 125 Posted September 29, 2018 I like the low point of view for this subject that creates a nice visual impact. All my best Laurent. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 1, 2018 Chris...Thank you.It is quiet time at the wharf with most type of commercial fishing over for the season except for shrimp for which only a few boats from this wharf are equipped.I happened here when the crew was at base and a handful of men were mending the big net.Glad you like the shot with the camera as low as I could get it.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 1, 2018 Radu..Thank you my friend. As I noted to Chris above,I could get the low POV with the crew's assurance I was not interfearing with their work.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
tai 3 Posted October 2, 2018 Magnificent capture and perspective, Laurent! These accessories for sea fishing look absolutely fantastic. I see networks of different caliber, floats and sinkers. Not sure if I understand correctly. What is the real diameter of these floats? Cloudy picture reinforces the impression. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 2, 2018 Tatiana..Thank you for looking in and for your querries;the black rubber bottom rollers would be around 45 cm in dia. and the floaters somewhere around 30 cm in dia and the net stretching some 20 M,maybe more,It makes for a pretty impressive piece of gear, more so when it is rolled up tight on the whinch on the tail end of the boat.I will check the next time I get to see one on the wharf to confirm these approx measurements.Salutations-Laurent...PS...the clouds overhead made me stop for the shot!!!
