michaellinder 16,611 Posted September 20, 2018 I posted this as a result of a query from Ken Ratcliffe about the original color version I previously posted. Link to comment

Ken Ratcliffe 103,227 Posted September 21, 2018 Michael, nice work, like it. In my opinion this conversion adds to this street scene, giving more feeling and atmosphere to the presentation. With a well balanced and interesting composition b&w allows the viewers attention to focus on the two guys and their expressions with the one sitting on the wall talking to his mate. Probably saying "have you seen the guy with the camera", nice capture. Thank you, best regards Ken. Link to comment
Wayne Melia 5,976 Posted September 21, 2018 +1 to Ken. The people become the primary subject in the bw, not competing for attention with the geometry of the colour shapes Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted September 22, 2018 Chris, Wayne - - Thanks for your feedback. Honestly, the street shots I post usually are in b&w; I don't really know why I decided to go with the color version originally., Link to comment
