michaellinder 16,611 Posted September 24, 2018 Ken, without a doubt, this is a museum piece. The colors are so vivid that they almost jump off my screen. Although some of the beach pebbles are quite sharp, this contrasts dramatically with the slight fuzziness on the part of the horses. To me, it's motion blur and adds dynamism. The rather big sky is magnificent in its own right - a few wispy clouds, the sun's radiance, and the dark clouds rising above the horizon. The image deserves a lot more than my humble words, including being admired and placed in my favorites. - - My best, michael Link to comment
Ken Ratcliffe 103,402 Posted September 25, 2018 Michael. Once again thank you for a very detailed encouraging comment. I have to confess this image is the result of blending two images taken with different cameras, 10 years and many miles apart. One taken at sunset and one in bright sunlight, the ponies are wild Exmoor Ponies which is not the location for the sunset. Pleased you like the results of my lengthy pp efforts, best regards Ken.
