krpradu 125 Posted August 24, 2018 The driftwood change the monotony of beach and gives a nice contrast. Is a very good place for a walk for sure. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted August 25, 2018 Radu...Our beaches are not crowded even in the busy summer season and at this time of the year when its starts to get colder and the visitors have gone, they become deserted as on this shot. Caramelle loved to run here and was great company, but now it is less interesting to come even if the photo opportunities remain.Salutations amicales-Laurent Link to comment
gregverena 339 Posted August 25, 2018 Laurent, we notice a difference in your beach shots- some full of sand, like this one. and others more rocky/ gravely. Why is this? Next to our forests, this would be our preferred place to take walks. Gorgeous! Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted August 26, 2018 Greg & Verena...It all depends on the currents and pre-dominant winds. This beach is wide open and fairly well protected whereas others like on the shots of the bridge/clouds are in an inner bay and barricaded behind the bridge approach halting(obviously) the movement of sand and leaving more pebbles at surface.A neighbour was telling me that prior to the bridge construction(ferry era),the now pebbles beach was right sandy.Agree that this is a great place to walk...especially with a Caramelle!!!Now if I could get Renardo interested ?Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
