I also like the framing provided by the shelf around the piles. I saw this one was taken with an iPhone. I use my iPhone a lot for capturing images that won't be otherwise recorded. This reminds me of an image I shot some years back, with an iPhone too. I dug it out today. I think, there are some conceptual similarities between yours and mine. Yours is of course more complex with contrast of forms and shades going on. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted August 11, 2018 I'm glad you found the image worth your comments, Supriyo. It was the set of undulating edges that grabbed my attention before I took this shot. Also, I try whenever I see some sort of framing in the scene to take advantage of it. Thanks also for posting your image for comparison purposes. I agree about the conceptual similarities; to me, one of the keys to both images is the negative space. Link to comment
