Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 30, 2018 It's strange to see a wild animal with an equally wild glint in his eye lying on the asphalt. I wouldn't say he's completely relaxed but certainly trusting enough to be there in the first place. Link to comment
gregverena 339 Posted July 30, 2018 rough life for Renaldo- he'll be next knocking on your door to come in to try out your couch! Cute, as always. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted July 31, 2018 Jack..He's about 8 ft from where I am sitting in the lower steps of the staircase to the varenda.I think he chose the asphalt as it was dry compared to the still damp grass from the overnight dew. He'll close his eyes but those ears stay on with the volume way high to detect any noise/movement;when I get up to move closer,he will jump up and walk a parallel line maintaining this safe 10-ft margin but treats will get him to cheat on the safety gap and he's now picking stuff at 1-ft from my feet but not just yet from my hand....but we are working on that.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted July 31, 2018 Greg & Verena...Cute....you are right!I think he's got a plan and sleeping on the couch might be in there. Thanks for looking in and for following this story in development.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment

tai 3 Posted August 3, 2018 I love your Renardo series, Laurent! I would treat him too. It seems that it's time for you to think about the room for Renard and his family. Magnificent photo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted August 3, 2018 Tatiana...Thank you..Renardo is a nice friend but is not so opened to sharing his family which I have seen once and sometimes a glimpse at a distance on my wooded lot.I think he can do without a room but he is now a regular morning visitor and that suits me fine.Glad you like these shots which I am previledged to get.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
