My Brother Putting in His Hallway

Ver well put!

To me this is a somewhat humorous depiction of the "tunnel and light" experience some people have reported during a near-death experience. Instead of a tunnel, here is a hallway, and the bright light comes from the kitchen. The funny part is that instead of floating peacefully down the tunnel toward the warm and all-encompassing light, your brother has turned his back on it to get in one last putt. A sort of parting shot, a shot directed at you. I really like this photo, Jack.

A most effective abstract in b&w! There just enough realism in the detail. Yet, I wonder what really lies behind your brother. Even more mysterious, Jack - I have no idea what you confronted while you were setting up and taking this shot. This one goes to my McRitchie library.

Great, suggestive image....your trademark. I find very interesting the overall lack of sharpness, i.e. the dynamic movement of everything: Your brother and the ball rolling. A simple shot, but a very telling one.....brotherhood, childs' play, having fun with simple things. BW works wonders here. A timeless image. Very evoking and sentimental. Thanks for sharing!
