michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 16, 2018 Franz, in my humble opinion, this image is an abstract. We get only a glimpse of what's behind the fence, which is in clear focus. Yet the fence, which is in the foreground, is altogether fuzzy. You must be a proponent of fuzzy logic! Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted July 16, 2018 Michael, thank you for your opinion. I don't think that it is an abstract. It's absolute normal. When you stay there and look to the house and the ringdove, you can not see the fence near by you sharp. Best regards, Franz Link to comment
tai 3 Posted July 17, 2018 Franz, I congratulate you on the Photo of the Day! I noticed earlier your special attention to the "Fence" theme. This fence-image, perhaps, is the most original of the fences placed in your gallery. I like it, Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 17, 2018 Franz, I see abstraction in just about anything. Perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part. In any case, your explanation of the image is entirely convincing, so I withdraw my observations about the image. To me, the hint of the building behind the fence creates not only a great deal of interest. It also encourages the viewer to wonder what the rest looks like. I also agree totally with Tatiana regarding the image's originality. And congratulations on the POTD. (Finally, I still think you practice fuzzy logic.) Link to comment
