Simply WOW and astounding. Stops one on its tracks! You are a superbly accomplished photographer, with a great many images of superb photographic and insightful quality. However, IMHO, this is one of the most outstanding ones! I just cannot start to describe the powerful impression it causes when one looks at it. Any attempt to coherently try to decompose it and try to praise the many elements (in such a relatively simple mingling of lines), would be futile and useless. This is indeed a masterpiece, one of your BEST images....and believe me, I say this in all humility, as I am a true fan of your so very special POV. This SOOOOOO expressive, powerful, compelling, that it brings me full circle to...simply WOW!! One of my absolute top favorites. It is truly very special. DG

Expressive urban abstract, Jack! A wonderful composition, geometry, textures plus a mysterious point of impact outside the frame. And if you look at this picture from the standpoint of the technocratic, it is the intersection of a land-based transport main and an underground, possibly, storm sewer. With such a look at your photo there is a real impact point at the level of clouds, and this picture can be transformed beyond recognition depending on the amount of rainfall. And if you look more broadly, you can guess about many points of impact on this section of the road. I would call it the "Points of impact". Your fascinating picture has driven me to the point of absurdity. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

I've been remiss lately in replying to comments and I do think it's important to thank people who have taken the time to share their thoughts, especially when they do so at some length as Daniel and Tatiana have. That really is the essence of community, at least to me.
