I like the composition but am not convinced with the colour being introduced either in the line down the centre of the road or the sign on the right at the end. I think that the image is strong enough and well enough executed to stay in monochrome. Very nice image, I would like to walk down the road.

Frank...Thank you for viewing and for the observation.I quite agree with you that this scene has what it takes to stand without the kept color patches but I couldn't resist accenting the centerline to enhance its leading power.I have just uploaded a desaturated/monochrome of a sister shot which confirms your point;another shot of this scene in color which I uploaded earlier really gives you the urge to stroll down the road.Salutations-Laurent
