Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 7, 2018 These last four photos of yours (flower, sky, yellow line and this one) immediately caught my attention. They fit easily within your oeuvre (I've always wanted to use that word even though I have no idea how to pronounce it.) but to me they show a subtle refinement of your style. They seem more precisely focused and composed, "locked in" so to speak without feeling contrived or overly-thought out. It's as if you saw the possibilities and were able to preserve intact that initial moment of creative intent or realization through to the final image. I'm afraid I'm doing a poor job of explaining myself; intuitive observations don't lend themselves readily to easy explanations. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted July 8, 2018 Jack..Thank you for viewing this and my latest uploads and for the kind analysis which is right on about the way I find my subjets.I carry my camera in the car at all times ''just in case'' and what you see in these uploads is pretty much what I came upon. Now,I'll excuse you for using the word ''oeuvre'' to qualify my collection of images....but at the same time, however superlative it is,I get great satisfaction that it comes from one whose work is so outstanding.Merci et salutations amicales-Laurent Link to comment
