The Sedum caeruleum is an annual plant with a Mediterranean distribution present in Sardinia and Sicily. It grows in rock environments and on gravels, on arid primitive soils in summer. It is commonly found at the edge of the Sardinian temporary ponds in contact with rocky outcrops.

Nikon D500, Sigma macro 105mm , f/13, 1/400sec, ISO 320. Thanks for your comments

I keep looking for the birds hidden among the foliage :-)) but if this picture proves anything it's that you're as good with plants as you are with our feathered friends. Wonderful color and precise attention to detail.

A magnificent plant image, Giangiorgio! I like this frame, amazing colors, unusual shapes, textures, details, shadows ... Bravo! Birds can rest a little without your attention. Sincerely, Tatiana

A patch of delicate flowers with colors akin to a rainbow!! Hopefully such beauty won’t be gone in a week, as is the fate of so many gorgeous flowers!! I love the shot!
