Great light, colors and reflections. Would it be better if she smiled a little next time, or have you here aimed at a more "Narcissus-like" effect?

Hi Philip. Thank you very much. No smile we were not going for a class album or Facebook. She was just reflecting her thoughts I gues, I liked the expression on this one. It was her choice to do whatever she wanted.

That “mirrored” floor has produced some marvelous photos. Great idea letting the models have a look and create their own expressions. This one is a work of true beauty!

Hi Warren, this is just a SS mirror. It’s very delicate actually and easy to scratch, so I have to move it on the wall. It is 120lb so not an easy job! But like you said it produces some splendid results! I almost never pose my models. I see what works and try to press the shutter at the right moment.

Delightful image, Andrew! Charming young model, this pose, light, reflections and unbearably beautiful colors. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Highly aesthetic and original "reflection" image. There are may of these "reflections", however, this one is quite different, fresh and special. It looks like a four-leave clover, a sign of good luck. Technically flawless studio-model image, pleasing and artistic. DG

Hi Daniel, Thank you very much for your kind words. And of course for the comparison to a good luck charm. I missed this one. Your comments made my week!

Real nice detail in the mirror. You must have kept some fill flash low to get the nice shadow free transition from the subject to the reflection. Nice neutral lighting overall to bring out a consistent exposure to highlight and shadow in the entire subject-reflection composition. I envision big pillows!

Hi Jack, Thank you very much. Looks simple but you noticed it's not so simple. The key is that the room has to be covered with black backdrop fabric completely to avoid any reflection in the mirror other than the model. I also use 3 Profoto strobes , not just a fill flash.
