hstelljes 41 Posted June 16, 2018 Hello Herman, I like the composition and look of this lovely b&w landscape. I'm wondering about the lines on the left from edge to the trees. Not really much of a distraction more from curiosity. That cloud and row of trees' are the stars of this show...............Best Always, Holger Link to comment
HermanRoes 6 Posted June 16, 2018 Hello Holger, thank you so much. The lines on the left are high power lines and I have chosen not to remove them. Do you would advise otherwise? Sometimes I doubt about the total cleanliness of an image no flaws no faults . Is that desirable? I am very interested in your opinion. Regards, Herman Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 16, 2018 I very much like this picture which feels as much an artistic statement as a genre landscape, especially the relationship between the sky with its single commanding cloud and the rolling landscape with its grove of trees which almost seem dwarfed in comparison. As a technical note, I think "ghosting" around the trees and the ground/sky border - probably a correction of brightness - is a bit too obvious. Nonetheless, an admirable picture. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted June 17, 2018 Now that I know what they are I would leave them. They are part of the landscape and as such should be included. I initially wasn't sure what they were. I like this image a little more with the clarification of what the mysterious lines are. Thank you my friend............Holger Link to comment
