But the appearance of the word "you" on the wall in the motorcycle's vicinity presents a conundrum - an ambiguity of reference. Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 10, 2018 Thanks, Michael. I took this in Naples on my recent trip to Italy. I was really struck by the bright colors everywhere specially in contrast to the rather subdued color pallet of Japan. I guess that reflects the difference in cultures - the Japanese largely unobtrusive and the Italians bolder and more expressive. Link to comment
Wayne Melia 6,037 Posted June 10, 2018 So the yellow hat enjoys all the attention for now; framed by the window, the bright light circle, the car and motorcycle, the intent of Mr. Macho, ..., but the lamp(?) is about to douse it with the shadow it pours down like it's a bucket of ice water .
