This image prompted me to think of Sartre's "No Exit." It would appear that if one cannot enter, one cannot exit. Although the image indeed captures the architecture of this place, it also is a visual allegory.

These rusty doors are always a lure for photographers, and make for a fabulous subject. Well taken advantage of the beautiful colors. Very appealing. DG

A portrait of a well used but forgotten door. It’s shows it’s wear and tear, but nobody says thanks by painting it. The brick setting highlights this beautifully! Bravo!

A fascinating photo and a wonderful object, Franz! Old walls and doors stimulate the imagination. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

This and several other images in your portfolio here are straight-on symmetrical images. That's always a safe way to go and I do it plenty myself. You might want to try other approaches to formalist images.
