DGorinstein 20 Posted May 29, 2018 Cher Laurent: You are so very kind and obliging. Your comments on the issue of this great photograph are enormously appreciated. Sorry to have made you go to all the trouble of re-posting a different corp and a BW version of this quite interesting (and yes, amicable and cooperative) subject. Again, I believe it is a certain bias towards BW, buy IMHO, this closer view lends more drama and highlighted detail, giving it more of a "journalistic" interpretation, that in this case, in my opinion, turns out to be so. Again, many thanks for your kind attention, correspondence, productive and enriching exchange. Stay well and receive my best regards. DG Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted May 30, 2018 Daniel,my friend...No trouble at all;on the contrary, having to go back on these photos just stirrs up good memories as all/most of these are associated with remarkable people who for different reasons left lasting impressions details of which pop up whenever I take a look.I have all the negatives files for an eventual conversion to digital, but for now,the scan of relatively small prints is much easier but imposes limitation whenever cropping is necessary as in this case.Bottom line is that I am extremely pleased whenever any of these rises interest, more so from someone with your knowledgeable eye...thank you kindly.Salutations amicales-Laurent Link to comment
