Belem at high water!

In the high water season,Belem sector of Iquitos is flooded and life goes on on stilts including the sidewalks on Main street.Salutations-Laurent

I really like your well-balanced composition i.e. horizontals, verticals the compressed view (I guess you have used a telephoto lens).

Holger...This is an interesting place;during the high water period of the Amazon River as here,people move to the second storey of their houses;when the river regains its bed,people move back to occupying the ground level and use the street.Glad you like the shot!Salutations-Laurent
