frigo 4,155 Posted May 16, 2018 Zbigniew..Thank you;glad you are liking the look back into my old stuff. The aged prints sometimes look pretty good but quality suffers from the scan and PP work, but in the end,it is the subjet/people who make the image and mobilizes attention.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted May 19, 2018 Cher Laurent: J'espere que cet message vous trouves bien et donnes mes meilleurs salutations. Powerful image, very emotional, and exquisitely composed.....the mother's face needs not be seen to denote a possible worry and definitely motherly care. The unseen is what adds so much to this wonderful captured moment. What might this beautiful little creature be thinking with a man with a big camera and lens (if it's the case....or a smart phone for that matter). "Why is he so interested in me?" Bravo. If I may, with all due respect, and stemming exclusively from my personal bias for BW, for your own private purposes, experimentation or enjoyment, try making this in BW and play with contrast. You don't have to publish it, and I stress the issue of respect here, because the way you present this great photograph is just wonderful and compelling. Bravísimo? Best personal regards. frigo 4,155 Posted May 19, 2018 [[show-photo-18474034]] Hi Daniel,...Toujours un plaisir de te lire et de savourer ton apppréciation si précise d'une image.I actually considered going B/W with this one and finally decided to leave it in color given the warm tones with which it came out of the scan(this is '97 and digital was not around ....unfortunately).I have followed your suggestion and attached a copy for your perusal ;What do you think!Salutations amicales-Laurent Link to comment
