Love the mood of this image. The children obviously enjoyed mugging for the camera, but their joy wasn't limited to that; after all, they are children, who need no excuses to feel joy. Also, it's interesting that that the young man whose foot is on the tire is holding on to both the handlebars and the seat, while the other young man simply has his arm around his friend. Somehow the festive colors and the arrangement of the clothes on the line comprise the perfect background.

Michael,,Thank you.Your comment got me to look closer at this and think back;bikes in these outwards villages are a rare commodity and usually the bike is the family vehicle,used for work carrying large loads and for leisure on off days to take the family out.Here,I would suspect the little guy with the long pants and head cover is just back from the mosque and that bag on the handle bars would hold his praying carpet.The bike I would also assume to be the family unit as the seat seems a little high,more his dad's height.Anyways,they both seem to be enjoying the trust with the precious bike.Salutations-Laurent
