I knew this was one of yours, Jack, as soon as I viewed the smaller version. It tells a sad story - that human beings have a penchant for putting living things behind bars. There's an interesting comparison between the prison and the prisoners in this case. The bars are comprised of shapes that are more or less uniform and are patterned, while the nourishment the plants receive from soil, sun, and water don't dictate their appearance.

Hi Jack, a wonderful composition with layers; the life of these plants vs the man-made-confinement and the juxtaposition of the rusty red and vibrant green (with some 'rusty' spots in it) . I like how you put so much into one image. Regards, Vincent
