Jack, I never would have guessed that the figure is a Grecian urn. Love the multiple framing and the fascinating - almost hypnotic - textures around the figure. Fine work.

Hello Jack: So glad to see you back in PN, regaling us with your usual photographic mind puzzles of original and unusual images, so very characteristic trademark of yours. They have a certain "j'ne se quois", but just browsing the "explore" section, I saw this image, caught my attention, and voila! Who is the author of such an odd "thing"? And what a pleasant surprise, to find in an image natural tones that tell a tale, or rather pose a puzzle....where is the blackish gray coming from? Why is the rock peeking through this odd stripped material that so starkly clashes with the texture of the stone....Well, so pleased to put my mind to work in deciphering rare finds.
