frigo 4,155 Posted May 9, 2018 Michael..Glad you like! I took this as the man was returning from Friday prayers at the village mosque and I must assume that atop the obvious wisdom which comes with age,his mind/soul were at peace.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted May 10, 2018 Another outstanding street portrait, Laurent. It captures everything you described in your response to Michael R. There's one unusual element that gives the image additional interest. Take a close look at the subject's eyes; he appears to be slightly crosseyed. - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted May 10, 2018 Michael...Thank you... and yes,I noticed the slight deviation in the eyes alignment. This was shot in a village close to the powerplant project in which I was involved and,as in cases like this where I knew I would return,I always got extra prints made for those who had generously let me put a camera in their face. When I came back to this place and asked around for the man,I learnt he had passed away but was led to his house where I could hand the prints to his family;it created some emotions for them and left me with good memories.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
