vincentoiseau 83 Posted May 7, 2018 Hi Timo, this delicate photo shows the added value of shooting with vintage lenses; the out-of-focus area has real character, the depth of field is very small. I get lost in the wide composition and almost forget the technical shortcomings because of the quality of the presentation. Nice. Regards, Vincent Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 548 Posted May 8, 2018 Thanks Pierre & Vincent. I really like shooting with the old Pancolar 50mm lens, it can give you a really smooth background or it might be a little bit busy or rough sometimes, it depends much on your shooting distance and distance between your subject and the background. I have used it now for over a year and I know what kind of results I can expect, but sometimes I still get unexpected results and I guess that's the main reason why I use it almost everyday.
