This is an abstract for sure, and an abstract by definition is difficult to criticized ,because it got view points exactly as the numbers of its viewers. This have been said and clarified let us talk about this image of yours, it is an abacus , any shot of it from any direction would made a good abstract without any added distortion . The cause of this in my personal opinion is its nature, its shape , its antiquity ,and being replaced by the modern technology and becomes obsolete at least in the western world.

All of this is just personal ,and to be taken very lightly by others .
