Laurent, your dramatic perspective affords a direct line of sight to the translucent ice crystals which look like quartz. I wonder whether the original color version has the same impact. The image portrays what many would call a wasteland. To me, it shows an area that's worthy of exploration. - - My best, michael

Michael..Thank you so much.The color version looked somewhat like my ''Pebbles'' shot sitting next to this one in my Recent gallery and did not impact as I wished so I split this one at horizon level and tweaked it seperately in PP;the punch came only when converting to B/W .Salutations-Laurent
