Jack, thank you for stopping by. Apart from the excellent shadow profiles, I also loved the the distortion caused by the curved rock face in the original scene.

Thank you very much for your encouraging comment. Yes, the contrast offered by the shadows is noticeable in this image. BW gives you a lot of latitude to adjust contrast by applying color filters etc.
