Greg & Verena...You saw right!This rip-rap is what keeps this road from being sucked in the water and keeping it there has become a full time pre-occupation and a costly one at that as this is from a quarry almost 3-hrs away.When I moved here a dozen years ago,this very spot didn't have these rocks and the edge of the water was at least 100 ft away.Someday...very soon,that section of road at the right edge of the frame will be gone!!!
