frigo 4,155 Posted March 27, 2018 As soon as the ice sheet is broken and carried at sea by the tide and winds, the icy shores get pounded by the stormy waters and eat away at the ice cover of the beaches.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted March 28, 2018 Chris...Thank you.Hard to believe that people will be swimming here in a few months.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
gregverena 339 Posted March 28, 2018 I was wondering whether or not it gets warm enough to swim. Hope some beach remains! Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted March 29, 2018 Greg & Verena...I didn't say ''warm enough''to swim,I meant ''liquid enough'' as it never gets warm.It takes northern ADN in your blood and we have a procedure to get in the water which goes like this: one toe in/out of the water-feet in/out of the water-ankles in/out of the water-knee deep/out of the water....and so on and it just gets harder the deeper you get in.Once you are all in,learn the seal dialect to communicate with the little guy next to you!!!Ha!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
tai 3 Posted March 29, 2018 Great photo, Laurent! I like this open space. A beautiful frame, a curve of the coastline and traces of frozen waves that make the prospect. Bravo, Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
