michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 24, 2018 Andrew, I really like this ballet series. The mood of this image is considerably different than another in the series, on which I commented. I wouldn't say the image is static, since I am confident that it was preceded, or is going to come after the previous one. The dancer is certainly is a classic position, but there is plenty of emotional and mental energy. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted March 24, 2018 Hi Michael, Thank you very much! The photo looks static but it was shot in a sequence that was not static. It was actually part of a dance. You can perhaps see this if you look at her feet. Link to comment
Tony Long 28 Posted March 25, 2018 Outstanding series Andrew. It is your understanding and control of studio lighting that shines through here, bringing the very best out of a beautiful subject. Regards Tony Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted March 25, 2018 Hi Anthony, Thank you very much for your visit and compliment. It was lit with a high power directional strobe and another strobe with much lower setting on side of the model. Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted March 25, 2018 Your photo oozes "graceful and delicate!" The essence of a ballerina! Nicely done indeed! Link to comment
