Pierre, this is an image that gave me no difficulty in interpretation. It begins with a self-disclosure; I love science fiction, whether book or movie. I saw immediately a portal that affords us the opportunity to travel without using our customary modes of transportation. Perhaps we are using it to fold space, as in "Dune"; otherwise, it creates a wormhole that allows transportation at warp speed, as in "Stargate."
