Greg & Verena,,This was a fresh cut from earlier in the morning and,yes,,,not much place to go even if you wish to avoid some oncoming traffic.The problem when it comes to this is that even the slightest snowfall,even just a few inches,and the winds will fill this up totally,This particular open stretch of road across the plains is some 5 km long and for at least 1,5 km,I could barely see the front of the car and traction was iffy as the buildup over only a few hours was well above a foot deep.On big snow years,snow can build up 10 ft high and people living here can be isolated for several days,Fun?Salutations-Laurent
