A magnificent philosophical image, Pierre! I like this composition, absolutely perfect union of images, colors, shadows, details ... Very well done! Bravo!!! Sincerely, Tatiana

Pierre, the image's title gave me a strong suggestion. It, like so many others like it, is a visual allegory, and an exceptionally strong one at that. The figure in the foreground clearly is the Confessor; he's an incarnation of Tourqemada, probably the most notorious Grand Inquisitor during the Spanish Inquisition. In turn, it's difficult to nail down the woman who is between the Confessor and the church. The image title identifies her as the Observer. Yet, even though she is looking at the church, to me, she appears as if she's trying to escape. If so, even though she may have observed something, she really should be referred to as the Victim. That's what the image communicates to me. I have no doubt you will let me know if I'm off base. - - My best always, michael

Here's how my story goes, Michael: She is the confessor sneaking to the church! Although tiny little creature she is prone to the oldest sin and he is the observer (aren't we all observers sometimes or some all the time?!). I'm surprised that it may be seen vice versa as you described! Thank you very much for letting me know that! PDE
