Waiting for Open Doors

I think it would work better if you had stood 2-3 feet to the right, so the people on the stairs weren't all "chopped up" by the railing. And the guy staring right into the camera adds a lot of tension that you may or may not have intended. The detail and tonality are impressive.

I appreciate your comments, Dave. Although I think your suggestion is correct, I can't shoot the photo all over again.

Perhaps I misunderstood the point of the critique. I thought the idea was to point out things to be aware of the next time a similar situation arises. Is that wrong?

For me its all about the shapes ,,the staircase the ceiling and how the subject is intwined ..making him blend as part of the art of photo
